• Begin with a panoramic drive through Athens that takes you by Hadrian's Arch, the gateway to the still-standing columns of the Temple of Olympian Zeus, one of the city's most esteemed and popular attractions.
• Continue to the center of the city to see the magnificent 19th-century National Gardens, an oasis of greenery with duck ponds and a small zoo, before passing the neoclassical National Library, the Academy of Athens and Parliament.
• Take in the fourth-century Panathenaic Stadium, the only stadium in the world built entirely of marble.
• Finish your day at the Attica Zoological Park, the largest zoo in Athens featuring 2,000 animals representing 400 species. Visit the third-largest bird collection in the world, with 1,100 birds from 300 species, and enjoy a unique journey to the five continents through the lives of more than 2,000 animals from 290 species, including lions, Asian elephants, giraffes, monkeys, bears, penguins, parrots, dolphins and many more.
